Delicious Turkey Stuffing: 3 Quarts Bread Crumbs - usually one bag is sufficient 1 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp sage 1/2 cup diced celery 2 Tbsp parsley 1/4 tsp pepper 3/4 cup butter or margarine (butter makes better flavor) 1/2 cup minced onions 1 egg Directions:Pour bread crumbs into largest salad or mixing bowl you can find. Add all dry ingredients then melt butter and add to mixture. (Butter can be melted in a glass measuring cup in the microwave). Next slightly beat egg until white mixes with yoke. Pour into stuffing mixture. Using your hand (or if you prefer a large mixing spoon) tumble mixture in bowl until bread crumbs are completely coated with all ingredients. (HINT: Using your hand is better since you can also lightly squash bread crumbs as you tumble so as to help the buter/margerine absorb into them). Stuff turkey cavity to maximum capacity. Tie legs together to hold stuffing in cavity while cooking or slip legs back into skin flap if one is available.(Flavor Variation - For bolder flavor, substitute 1 1/2 tsp salt with 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp garlic salt)
